Where was that..? is an multi media art and heritage prototype beta exhibition of local archives project developed by SilverBoxIT in collaboration with Andrew Taylor and Katrina Whitehead from the University of Huddersfield.
The Where was that…? app integrates AR Technology and GPS locations to provide an immersive heritage walk and a memorable augmented experience for locals and visitors to Huddersfield.
In this beta phase launch the user can explore geo located positions from the Queensgate Market towards King Street and in the app tap to view a collection of historical photos sourced from a wide range of Huddersfield community archives.
